Players Sports Bar & Grill sits just off FL-7 in Fort Lauderdale, carving out its space as a laid-back neighborhood hub where sports fans and locals come together to relax, eat, and catch the game. This bar & grill’s atmosphere is a blend of a lively sports bar and a comfortable community gathering spot—expect a crowd that’s diverse in age and background, sharing the evening over pool tables, karaoke on Wednesdays, or one of the many TV screens broadcasting everything from football to basketball.

The menu leans on classic bar food favorites sprinkled with some local flair. Their world-famous wings are a consistent draw, often paired alongside sandwiches like the Mahi Mahi or Tuna Melt, salads with a buffalo kick, and a handful of wraps that keep things casual and satisfying. Portions are sizeable, and there are solid lunch specials that make it a popular stop for a midday meal, especially if you’re looking for something affordable but filling.

Players is at its best during social evenings when groups come to unwind. The staff tends to be friendly and approachable, bolstering the welcoming vibe, though service can fluctuate with busier nights—so patience pays off. The atmosphere sometimes carries a bit of smoke, so it’s a place where you might want to come with that expectation if you’re sensitive to it.

Parking can be a challenge during peak times, a sign of just how much this spot draws in crowds who enjoy not only good food and drinks but also the community feel. Happy hour offers well-mixed drinks—including the popular Liquid Marijuana cocktail—and the overall drink menu complements the food without overcomplicating it.

Whether you’re stopping by for a casual lunch, catching up with friends late at night, or looking for a spot to watch your favorite team with over 20 TVs lighting the room, Players Sports Bar & Grill fits the bill as a dependable local hangout where the focus is on easygoing fun rather than polish. It’s the kind of place where conversation flows as freely as the drinks, and regulars feel at home.

The food was slow to come out, that’s really the only complaint. A long and diverse group of patrons. Over 20 televisions to watch almost and game. The staff was kind and helpful. I’m an out of state guest and I found the general atmosphere to be welcoming and fun.

Player's Sports Bar @playersportsbar Ft. Lauderdale, FL Follow eatzwithsweetz on ig and fb for more A staple for sure! You not from Broward if you never been to Player's! The vibes start early with the $7.99 Lunch Special that runs til 3pm. Pescatarian Me got the cod sandwich and it hit the spot for me. The menu also had wings, burgers, and more all for $7.99. A deal for sure. And this is the only place that makes my fave drink right! Love you long time Player's! I cannot give a rating for the food here because I didn't order any but the drinks are very good, especially during happy hour, so drink responsibly. This is a great neighborhood spot to go if you want to hang out with friends to watch a game, shoot some pool, or just chill. If you're okay with smoking then you will enjoy because sometimes it's a little bit smoky. They do serve food up to late at night and I do notice people getting takeout from here, so maybe next time, I'll try some. My last visit was late on a Sunday night and it was a mellow, moderate crowd. The music was though the jukebox but I think on Friday and Saturday nights they may have a DJ, but those nights are usually packed and too young of a crowd for my taste. They do have ample free parking and is accessible.

This is my spot! Not too many cool late night spots in Broward. People actually speak and engage. You can be yourself! The staff is friendly and helpful. I never have any problems here. Bring your own hookah. Parking is hectic bc its always a vibe so get there at a decent hour. Karaoke is on Wednesdays don't sleep on it.. they have some talent The wings is the reason I started coming here and now it's the eggrolls and the jerk chicken wrap that warms my insides lol (oh and please pretty please, bring back the original sweet n sour sauce for them eggrolls.. t.i.a.)
